ShoeString is open to any idea the poet can conjure

However :
Profanity will not be accepted unless it is lending
well to the crafting of an idea. Degrading pieces
such as racism , will also be rejected. Other than
that , feel free to let yourself go.

You may send up to five poems per submission.
Please write , " ShoeString Submission " in the
subject line , and send work in the body of the
email.

All submissions will be acknowledged within 10 days.
If by then you've not received word , assume your
work was not received , and try sending it again.
You will know within 60 days if your work has been
accepted for publication.

If you like , send along a biographical sketch
to let the world know what you're up to.

The door is always open , so scribble away!

At Your End :

When you submit work to ShoeString you are
acknowledging that : 1) The work is of your own
creation. 2) You grant ShoeString permission to
publish & archive said work. Once the work has
been published rights revert back to the Author.

For Now ...

Due to the issue that ShoeString finds itself in the
middle of , and the agreement it pledged to follow
while trying to settle that issue , there is a certain
drawback: Each line of each poem must begin on the
left side of the screen. As my partner in crime and
myself both like experimental poetry we regret this.
It is nonetheless necessary.If this doesn't cramp your
creative style , then we'd love to read your stuff.

If and when ShoeString can clearly settle this issue
of writer integrity ,we will then be able to invest more
than time ,eliminate the popups , and transform this
humblelittle publication into something more befitting
the writer. With YOUR help it's not a matter ofif ,
